My Experience with GoDaddy:
Though there are many domain name registrars, only a few earned praise from the internet community. Some of the popular domain name registrars accredited by ICANN include the big names like Namecheap, GoDaddy, Hover, NameSilo, Dreamhost, Google Domains, Gandi, Name.com, etc.
There are hundreds of choices. However, my current favourite for my personal domains is Godaddy. It’s easy to use with an intuitive interface. Moreover, lots of free extras included for a starter site.
The domain name registrar (such as Godaddy) has a search function on its website. You can search if your domain name is available or not. If your domain name is unavailable (already registered), the website will provide an alternative domain name for your consideration.
